TheyaVue FAQ: Common Questions Answered

Quick answer

TheyaVue is a twice-daily capsule made for eye and vision support.

A 60-capsule bottle lasts 30 days, and the panel is per capsule, so amounts double in a day. Kits cost $59 to $234 and can be refunded for 60 days.

For safety notes, see TheyaVue side effects.

How to use this page

Every answer below follows the panel we were given, the checkout figures we checked, and the research we could actually open and verify. Where the paperwork is silent, the answer says so instead of guessing. Numbers are per day at the label dose of two capsules unless a question says otherwise.

Full list

Every question, grouped

The product

What is TheyaVue, exactly?

A dietary supplement in vegetable capsules, sold for eye and vision support. It is a multivitamin built around fourteen measured nutrients plus a 481 mg daily blend of ten plant-based ingredients, including the lutein and zeaxanthin advertised on the front of the bottle.

Is TheyaVue a treatment for an eye disease?

No. It is not a treatment for macular degeneration, glaucoma, cataract, diabetic eye disease or dry eye, and it does not reduce the need for glasses, contacts or surgery. It is a support supplement, not a medicine.

What does 'Eye & Vision Support Formula' actually mean?

It is a structure and function statement, the kind dietary supplements are allowed to make about supporting a body system. It is not a claim that the product treats, cures or prevents any eye condition, and it is not a promise that eyesight will improve, sharpen or stay the same. Reading it as a support statement, not a medical outcome, is the whole difference between the label and the sales funnel built around it.

Who makes TheyaVue?

The Supplement Facts panel we were given carries no distributor block, manufacturer name, address or country of manufacture. Mytheyavue sells it as a U.S. stocking partner and is not the manufacturer. We are not filling that gap with a guess; where the paperwork is silent, this site says so rather than inventing a company or a location.

Does TheyaVue contain caffeine or a stimulant?

No. The Supplement Facts panel lists fourteen vitamins and minerals plus the ten-ingredient proprietary blend, and none of them is caffeine or a recognized stimulant. Other Ingredients are limited to the cellulose capsule shell, rice flour, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide, none of which are stimulants either.

Is the TheyaVue capsule vegetarian?

The shell is cellulose, a plant material, which matches a vegetarian claim, and the seller artwork carries a Vegetarian seal. No certifying organization is named next to that seal, so treat it as an accurate description of the shell material rather than a third-party certification you can look up.

Why is there no manufacturer address on the panel?

The Supplement Facts panel we were given simply does not print one: no distributor block, no manufacturer name, no street address and no country of manufacture. Mytheyavue sells the product as a U.S. stocking partner and says so plainly rather than filling that gap in with a guess. If that detail matters to your decision, the order desk can be asked directly.

The label and the arithmetic

Why do I need to double the numbers on the back label?

Because the Supplement Facts panel is written per capsule, with a serving size of one capsule, while the directions ask for two capsules a day. Every percentage and amount printed on the panel is half of what you actually take in a day.

How long does one 60-capsule bottle actually last?

Thirty days, at two capsules a day. The panel counts 60 servings, but because each serving is one capsule and the directions ask for two, a bottle covers 30 days, not 60. The checkout calls it a 30-day supply for the same reason.

Why does the bottle say 60 servings if it only lasts 30 days?

Because a serving on this panel is one capsule, not one day. Sixty capsules means sixty servings, and that number is accurate as printed. It is Servings Per Container, not Days Per Container, and the directions asking for two servings a day are what turns sixty servings into thirty days of actual use.

How much lutein and zeaxanthin does TheyaVue actually contain?

That amount is not published. Both sit inside a single 240.5 mg per-capsule, 481 mg per-day proprietary blend with nine other ingredients, and U.S. rules let a maker print one combined total instead of ten separate amounts.

Does the niacin on this label cross any published limit?

Yes. Two capsules provide 40 mg NE of niacin a day, above the 35 mg daily upper limit National Institutes of Health, 2022 sets for supplemental niacin. The label does not state which chemical form of niacin is used, which is what actually decides whether flushing and liver cautions apply.

Does the zinc on this label cross any published limit?

No, but it sits close to one. Thirty-two milligrams of zinc a day is under the 40 mg adult upper limit from all sources, as long as nothing else you take also contains zinc.

Taking it

How do I take TheyaVue?

One capsule 20-30 minutes before a meal, with an 8 oz glass of water, twice a day. Full step-by-step directions are on the how-to-use page.

Should TheyaVue be taken before or after a meal?

Before. The physical label says 20-30 minutes before a meal. Some outside listings describe taking it after a meal; the label on the bottle governs, and it says before.

What happens if I forget a dose?

Take it when you remember if your next dose is not close, or skip the missed one and resume your normal schedule at the next capsule. Either way, do not add it on top of your next scheduled capsule.

Is it dangerous to accidentally double up for one day?

A single accidental double dose is not described as an emergency on the label, but it does push niacin to 80 mg NE and zinc to 64 mg for that day, both above their respective limits. It is worth avoiding on purpose, not just by luck.

Can I take one capsule a day instead of two?

The label does not describe that as an option. Every percentage and amount on the panel, and the checkout's 30-day-supply figure, assumes two capsules a day. Taking one a day would halve the intake the label describes, stretch a bottle to 60 days, and stop matching the product the directions actually describe. If you want to change the dose, ask a clinician rather than deciding on your own.

Safety and limits

Who should not take TheyaVue?

Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding, anyone under 18, anyone allergic to a listed ingredient, and anyone looking for a treatment for an eye disease rather than a support supplement.

I already take a multivitamin. Can I add TheyaVue on top of it?

Ask a clinician or pharmacist first. Zinc, copper, vitamin C and vitamin E in this product can stack with a separate multivitamin, and the combined zinc total can approach or cross the 40 mg adult upper limit. Bring both labels to that conversation rather than just the one you are adding, since the stacking risk depends on what the other product already contains.

Does biotin in this product affect lab tests?

It can. Biotin, including the 800 mcg a day this product provides, has been linked by U.S. et al., 2022 to falsely skewed results on some immunoassay-based blood tests, including troponin and thyroid panels. Tell any clinic drawing your blood that you take a biotin-containing supplement.

My vision changed recently. Should I try TheyaVue first?

No. A recent or sudden change in vision, including blurring, flashes, floaters or pain, means seeing an eye doctor the same day. A supplement bottle does not diagnose anything, and delaying an exam to test a capsule first is the wrong order of operations.

Can I take TheyaVue with my prescription eye drops?

Ask your prescriber. Nothing on the Supplement Facts panel addresses interactions with topical eye medications such as glaucoma drops or prescription dry-eye drops, and an oral capsule and a topical drop work through different routes into the body. Even so, a pharmacist or ophthalmologist is better placed than this label to check your specific prescription against this specific panel.

AREDS2 and the research

Is TheyaVue the same as an AREDS2 formula?

No. Of the six AREDS2 nutrients that can be compared, only copper matches exactly. Vitamin C, vitamin E and zinc are all lower than the AREDS2 amounts, and lutein and zeaxanthin cannot be compared because this label does not publish their amounts.

What did the AREDS2 trial actually find?
Age-Related et al., 2013: AREDS2 was run in people who already had intermediate or advanced age-related macular degeneration. It slowed how fast that disease progressed in that group. It did not sharpen anyone's vision, and it showed no benefit for people with early or no AMD.
Is there any direct research on TheyaVue itself?

No dedicated clinical trial of this specific product was located. The research cited across this site is about the individual ingredients and their tested doses, not about this bottle as a whole, and a product built from studied ingredients is not the same thing as a product that has itself been studied.

Does bilberry really improve night vision?
Canter et al., 2004 reviewed placebo-controlled trials and found no rigorous evidence that bilberry improves normal night vision. The popular wartime story about pilots eating bilberries for sharper night vision was never confirmed in controlled research.
What is the difference between lutein and beta-carotene?

Both are carotenoids, but they behave differently. Beta-carotene converts to vitamin A and, at high supplemental doses, raised lung cancer risk in smokers in two large trials Omenn et al., 1996. Lutein and zeaxanthin do not convert to vitamin A and were not linked to that risk, which is part of why AREDS2 et al., 2022 found lutein and zeaxanthin performed at least as well as beta-carotene in the AREDS formula while carrying less risk. This label uses a small amount of beta-carotene as its vitamin A source, plus lutein and zeaxanthin inside the undisclosed 481 mg blend.

Buying

How much does TheyaVue cost?

$59 for one bottle with shipping added at checkout, $147 for three bottles ($49 each) with free U.S. shipping, and $234 for six bottles ($39 each) with free U.S. shipping.

Which kit is the best value per bottle?

The six-bottle kit, at $39 a bottle. The single bottle costs the most per bottle and is the only size that adds a separate shipping charge at checkout. Value per bottle is not the same question as how much of that kit's supply falls inside the 60-day refund window, which is worth weighing before choosing the largest kit on price alone.

What happens if my order never arrives?

Contact the order desk at +1 (315) 724-2018 with your order ID. Tracking is included in the order confirmation email, and the desk can look into a delayed or missing shipment directly. The inbox at [email protected] handles page content and cannot see individual orders, so a missing order question belongs with the phone desk, not the email address.

Refunds

What is TheyaVue's refund policy?

A 60-day money-back guarantee from the purchase date, unless the sales page you ordered from prints a longer window. The buyer pays for tracked return shipping.

How do I start a return?

Call the order desk at +1 (315) 724-2018 with your order ID, then mail the bottles to 1411 Broadway, Floor 8, New York, NY 10018, USA with your full name, email and order ID included. Use a tracked shipping service and keep the receipt, since the buyer pays return shipping.

This site

Does Mytheyavue sell TheyaVue, or just review it?

Both. Mytheyavue is a U.S. stocking partner for TheyaVue, and this site earns money when an order goes through our buttons. That is disclosed rather than hidden, and it is also why the label's weaker points stay visible on this site rather than smoothed over.

Why doesn't this site show star ratings or customer reviews?

The figures we were given for that purpose were marked as layout copy, meaning placeholder text for building a page rather than verified feedback from real buyers. Publishing invented reviews for an eye product means inventing people who claim their sight improved, and we will not do that.
